Norah's toothless grin!

Norah had a loose tooth for about a month. Last Tuesday, before lunch she showed me how loose the tooth was. I knew by looking at it that it would fall out that day. What I should have done is just pulled it out. But instead Norah went on with eating her lunch and in the process the tooth fell out and she swallowed it! OOPS!

She was so upset that she couldn't leave her tooth in her pretty box, so we made a fake tooth and she decorated it and left it for the tooth fairy.

She woke up on Wednesday morning with $5 and a cute note from the Tooth Fairy herself!

Yesterday she came up to me so excited to show me that she has another loose tooth! Probably in the next month or two that little gap on the bottom will be a bit bigger! :)

Christmas Eve 2009

Here's our little sweetie on Christmas Eve!

Part of our family's tradition is to go to the Stone Zoo Light's Festival and it's there that we visit with Santa. This year Mammy & Papa were able to come! We didn't know until we arrived at the Zoo that we would have an opportunity to get our photos taken with Santa's Reindeer! After seeing the Reindeer, we visited with Santa and then went to ride the tea-cups! It was a bitter cold night, but it was a lot of fun and very memorable!

Singing at school...

I was lucky enough to be able to volunteer in Norah's classroom last week on the day that she was "Star of the Day". While there the kids practiced their Christmas song. Here it is! Enjoy!

Fun times with old friends...

This week Norah and I got together with my friend Julie and her daughter Emily. Julie and I realized the other day that we've been friends for 25 years. We have shared so many great times together and are thankful that we both have little girls that really enjoy each other's company as well. It's so nice to sit back and watch them grow up together and to start making memories of their own.

As Julie and I were enjoying some yummy eggnog, we couldn't help but laugh as we heard the girls playing together in another room and hear them whisper and giggling. It was such a fun afternoon. The girls pretended the sled was a school bus, we made chocolate chip cookies and pizzas, the girls made a fort in the living room for them and for us and we finished off our afternoon making paper snowflakes.

Here are some great shots of them playing. Our favorite is of them camping out on the living room floor!

Here's to making great memories with great friends! XOXO

Norah, the Diva

Norah really enjoys getting dressed up, especially when she has a friend over. Yesterday her friend Sophie came over and the girls had a great time playing. As I was sitting at the table making up the grocery list, I heard them come down the stairs giggling and whispering. And when I turned around, this is what I saw. They were cracking themselves up that I had to run to get the camera and capture the moment.
